It was with great sadness that the College received news of Year 9 student, Toby Martin, who passed away peacefully on  2 July after losing his battle with leukemia, having being diagnosed just under two years ago.

Toby was a wonderful young man who loved being an ‘Eddie’s Boy’. He was an inspiration to all those who he came in contact with and his legacy will long be remembered at St Edward’s College.

Toby had a strong sense of community and social justice. Despite his own battle with leukemia, he had a dream to help others and the raise money for Central Coast Kids in Need (CCKIN). To date, the Go Fund Me page has raised close to $32 000 and will be donated to CCKIN to support other ‘kids on the coast’ with life threatening illnesses.
