Congratulations to Cooper Jones in Year 11 who competed in the Australian Junior (Under 13 – Under 20) Track and Field Championships in Adelaide over the recent school holidays.

Cooper placed 11th overall (but one of the boys who beat him was from New Zealand so Cooper finished 10th in Australia for the 400m). He was 0.2 seconds off making the final, and ran a personal best time of 49:82 which has already qualified him for the Under 20’s (age group) for nationals next year. An outstanding accomplishment Cooper!
