As we approach the end of Term 3, this is a timely reminder for all students to ensure their Waterford Service-Learning hours are completed. The Waterford Project is an essential part of our school’s commitment to fostering community service and social responsibility among our students. By participating, students learn the value of giving back to their community and develop a deeper understanding of the importance of service in building a just and compassionate society.
To help students fulfill their Waterford hours, several opportunities are available in the coming weeks:
40 Hour Famine: By participating in this global movement, students can raise funds and awareness for those experiencing hunger and hardship.
Founder’s Day: Assist your Homeroom teacher in running activities on Founder’s Day to earn Waterford hours.
Coast Shelter (Week 10): Engage with our local community by supporting those in need through Coast Shelter.
Founder’s Day Donation: Donating $20 towards Founder’s Day activities will contribute 2 hours towards your Waterford requirement.
Please ensure that your Waterford hours are logged and submitted by the end of the term. Let’s all work together to meet our goals and make a positive impact in our community!
If you have any questions regarding the submission and logging of your Waterford Hours, please contact your Religion Teacher or Mr Rozario.
