Admissions Statistics
Every year UAC publishes data on university admissions and trends in areas of study. The latest statistics reveal the top five fields of study for first preferences, with health, and society and culture being the most in-demand.
ATAR Compass
UAC will release a new web-based ATAR estimator called ATAR Compass. Students and schools can enter HSC courses and estimated HSC marks to receive an estimate of the ATAR that might be achieved. This tool should be used as a guide only.
ATAR Compass will be released on the UAC website later this month as part of our suite of Compass products, which also includes Subject Compass and Course Compass.
2024 Admissions Cycle
Applications for university entry in 2024 will open in early April 2023. In the weeks leading up to April, we will update the information on our website. On the day applications open we will email UAC PINs to the new cohort of Year 12 students so that they can start applying.
Below is a short video welcoming the Class of 2023, with details of what to expect in the coming admissions cycle.
UAC Guide
The UAC Guide for 2024 admissions will be delivered to schools in the first few weeks of Term 2, 2023. UAC sends every school one UAC Guide per Year 12 student.
