In our TAS subject area, we often see the senior HSC Major Projects receiving the most praise and admiration for their hard work and dedication. This often overshadows the achievements of our junior Technology Mandatory students and the guidance from our staff that nurture these young men to be able to achieve the results we all celebrate.  

Today we are recognising the diversity of our Year 7 students and the vast range of opportunities they experience, engaging themselves in authentic project-based learning activities.  

Digital Technology has been embraced through Minecraft: Education Edition in-game coding tasks. Students are guided through the virtual environment and block-based mechanics to make it an ideal workspace for students to learn coding principles and test their ideas in an environment that they have experience in and enjoy. 

Within the Food and Agriculture learning space, students are introduced to the Food Technology kitchen space and learn to prepare ingredients to create nutritious meals. This is supported by the availability of our Agriculture learning space to teach students propagation techniques and growth of sustainable food development.
