NSW All Schools Swimming
Congratulations to Daniel McLoughlin in Year 12 on his wonderful performance at the All-Schools Swimming. Daniel won Gold in the 200 m Under 17 Butterfly and Bronze in the 50 m Backstroke and 100 m Butterfly. The results saw him selected into the NSW team to contest the School Sport Australia Championships.
Daniel had to decline this opportunity as he was also selected into the Australian Junior Swimming team to contest the Pan Pac’s in Hawaii. A fantastic individual achievement.
NSW All School Baseball
Congratulations to Parker Robinson in Year 12 who was a member of the NSWCCC team at the All-Schools Selection Trials convened by Mr Scott Murray. His subsequent performance on the day saw him gain selection in the NSW All Schools team.
Parker will now represent NSW at the School Sport Australia Baseball Championships in Lismore in August.
NSWCCC Cross Country
Will Browning in Year 11 is to be congratulated on a wonderful run at the NSWCCC Cross Country in placing seventh in the Under 17 Boys Division. Will now progresses to the NSW All Schools Cross Country on Friday 22 July at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek.
NSWCCC Rugby League
Darcy Smith in Year 9 and Max Taylor in Year 9 are to be congratulated on their selection in the NSWCCC Under 15’s Rugby League team. The boys will now progress with the team to the Australian Rugby League Championships in Redcliffe, QLD during the Term 2 school holidays.
NSWCCC Rugby Union
Congratulations to Sebastian Plaister in Year 12, Charlie Cartwright in Year 12 for their selection in the Under 18’s team and Tevita Paea in Year 10 for his selection in the Under 16’s NSWCCC Rugby Union Team. The boys now have a series of camps and games against CHS, AICES, ISA as a part of the selection process for the NSW All Schools teams.
NSWCCC Touch Football
Congratulations to Sebastian Plaister in Year 12 on his selection in the NSWCCC Opens team. Sebastian will now head to the National Touch League Championships in Bokarina, QLD in late Term 3. Well Done, Sebastian, he is also a member of the Under 18’s Rugby Union team.
NSWCCC Waterpolo
Bryn O’Grady-Cousins in Year 12 and Sandor Torok in Year 10 are to be congratulated on making the Under 17’s NSWCCC Waterpolo team. The boys will now travel to Noosa, QLD with the team to contest the NSW v QLD Waterpolo Exchange from the 22nd – 24th July.
