School Sport Representing St Edward’s College

Congratulations to Parker Robinson in Year 12 on his selection in the NSW All Schools Baseball Team. Parker will now compete in the School Sport Australia Baseball Championships at Blacktown International Sports Park from August 14 to 20.

Sport/Personal Achievements

Ryan Green in Year 12

Congratulations to Ryan on his selection in the Australian Youth Team to contest the 2022 World Lifesaving Championships. Ryan will travel with the team to Riccione, Italy from September 27 to October 2.

Cruz Yarnold in Year 12 and Christopher Murray in Year 12

Both Cruz and Chris represented the Australian Under 18’s Oztag team at the recent International Tag Series, held in Coffs Harbour from Tuesday 2 to Sunday 7 August. The boys came away with a Gold medal winning the final against New Zealand 10-3.

Daniel McLoughlin in Year 12

Daniel will soon head to Honolulu, Hawaii to compete in the Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships as a part of the Australian Junior Dolphins team from August 20-29.

Xavier Roy in Year 12 and Nicholas Brooks in Year 12

Both Xavier and Nick represented NSW at the recent Sydney Tange Under 18 National Ice Hockey Championships, held at Cockburn Ice Arena in WA. Xavier (Goal-keeper) and Nick (Forward) played key roles in NSW securing a Bronze medal, defeating QLD 6-3. The event was held from July 6-9. Oscar Noone in Year 12 was also named as a reserve for the team.
