Community Christmas Carols
On Friday, December 6, St Edward’s College proudly hosted the Inaugural Community Christmas Carols on our College ovals. This special event saw St Edward’s College, St Joseph’s College, St Patrick’s Primary School, and St Patrick’s Parish come together to celebrate the festive season. The evening featured a range of student performances, including Christmas Carols and drama presentations. The event was extremely well attended, offering a wonderful opportunity for the four Catholic communities in Gosford to unite in celebration to commence the festive season.
The success of this event was due to the hard work and dedication of staff from each school, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment. I would like to acknowledge the following St Edward’s staff for their outstanding contributions to this project:
- Mrs Chanelle Giffin, Event Coordinator, who took on the responsibility of organising the event with exceptional skill and enthusiasm, supported by Mrs Kellie Atkinson.
- Our talented music staff, Mr Paul Toole and Mr Justin Kane, who, under the guidance of Mrs Annette Rankin, helped prepare the students’ performances and contributed backstage on the night.
- A special thanks to our Maintenance Team, led by Trent Claridge, whose efforts were instrumental in bringing the event to life.
We are grateful to all involved for making this such a memorable and joyous occasion.
Christmas Message
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our families for your continued support of St Edward’s and your sons. Your ongoing involvement in and commitment to their education plays a crucial role in helping them reach their full potential as learners and young men. I wish all members of our community a safe and blessed Christmas, and a joyful and prosperous New Year.
