Edmund Rice Education Australia Touchstone
Justice and Solidarity
As a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition, we are actively involved in developing global partnerships through participation in Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders.
Founder’s Day
The College Founder’s Day celebration last Friday was a truly memorable event, marked by a vibrant community spirit. Staff and students came together for a day filled with enjoyable activities, all aimed at supporting our Edmund Rice partners in Kenya.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the many families who generously donated to the cause, and to our students for their enthusiastic participation in the diverse range of events. The Eddies spirit shone brightly, reflected in the smiles and active involvement of everyone present.
Special appreciation is due to the staff who played a crucial role in organising the day. In particular, I would like to extend my gratitude and congratulations to Mr Alex Rozario, College Leader of Justice, Peace, and Advocacy, for his tireless energy and meticulous planning. His dedication was instrumental in making the day a success.
2025 College Captain and Vice-Captain Announcement
On Wednesday, September 4, the College celebrated the Prefect Induction Mass. Father Greg from St Patrick’s Parish joined staff, students, and families for a special ceremony where our newly elected Prefects were formally inducted into their roles. This event also provided an opportunity to recognise the 2024 Prefects for their dedication and leadership throughout the year.
During the celebration, we also announced the 2025 College Captains and Vice Captains. I am delighted to share with our community that William Lynch has been appointed as College Captain, with Harvey Olsen and Max Oteiwi serving as College Vice Captains. Congratulations to William, Harvey, and Max on their appointments. I wish them every success in their new roles and look forward to collaborating with them and all the prefects in serving our St Edward’s community.
