Founder’s Day Celebrations

Every second year the College holds a Founder’s Day Celebration, which is a day of fun as well as a fundraising day to raise much needed funds and support for Edmund Rice communities. Each student is asked to contribute $20 towards this cause. The contribution should be paid via the College front office before the beginning of September.

Purpose of the day:
- Develop belonging and community for the students and staff at St Edward’s College
- Raise approximately $20,000 for our Christian Brothers’ Mission in Kenya following our Justice and Solidarity, and Inclusive Community EREA Touchstones
- To have fun
What the day will look like:
- BBQ lunch will be provided
- Raffles (100 prizes)
- Games and activities including: run the gauntlet, adrenalin rush, stairs sprint, computer games, movies, lolly shop, table tennis, casino games, skateboarding competition, hammer the nail, fake injuries special effects, ultimate frisbee, golf chipping, ice cream parlour, live music and much more
NB: Lunch, raffles and all activities are included in the $20 contribution except the Lolly and Icecream Shops (please bring cash if you would like to purchase something extra)
