Brisbane Water NSW Legacy Club

As you may be aware, each year Brisbane Water (NSW) Legacy Club (BWL) offers scholarships to eligible individuals wishing to pursue studies at university, TAFE or approved private colleges.  The key eligibility criteria include being:

• the direct descendant of a former member of the Australian Defence Force,
• aged 25 years or under; and
• a resident of the Central Coast LGA.

Significant Financial disadvantage is also a prerequisite.  Our scholarship fund can also be utilised to assist eligible financially disadvantaged Year 11 and 12 students to complete their high school studies.  Since 2001 BWL has awarded 57 scholarships across a range of study disciplines.  Scholarships for full-time tertiary study commence at $5000 per annum up to a maximum of $6000 per annum in Years 3 and 4.  Vocational training (VET) scholarships are up to $3000 depending on the course and pattern of attendance.
