The Central Coast Innovation Team (CCIT) is inviting young people to be the driving force
behind an upcoming Youth Meet-up with local stakeholders. The aim of the Youth Meet-up
is to ignite insightful discussions about the future of work and innovative skill development
for young people on the Central Coast.
Summary of Project
The Youth Meet-up plans to hold the spotlight on Youth, centring its lens on the future of
work and equipping local young minds with the essential skills to thrive in tomorrow’s job
landscape. CCIT is looking for the voice of young people to help deliver this important
event by taking the lead in workshop planning, co-hosting, leveraging networks and
agenda setting.
Project Background
In alignment with the broader series of the Greater Cities Commission’s (GCC) Meet-ups,
this event continues the mission to unite diverse stakeholders, facilitate networking,
learning, and collaborative endeavours. By providing a platform to explore innovation
opportunities, spark interest, and encourage cross-sector collaboration, the Meet-up series
aims to fortify the innovation ecosystem within the Central Coast region. Each gathering
celebrates the region’s innovative endeavours, sharing tales of success, and offers
invaluable insights to bolster innovation. Ultimately, these Meet-ups forge connections
among like-minded individuals, building a unified vision for innovation on the Central Coast,
and driving coordinated actions toward its advancement.
