Early Entry and UAC Applications

As a friendly reminder for your Year 12 students that they are eligible to apply for our Early Entry Program and UAC at the same time.

  • Our Early Entry Program Round 1 closes on the 29th of August.
  • UAC Early Bird deadline is the 30th of September.

If a visit to your school for Early Entry Application Assistance would benefit your Year 12’s feel free to reply with a date and time and we will assist.

Program Updates 

New Surveying programs: Diploma and Associate Degree

We’re excited to announce two new undergraduate programs in surveying: the Diploma in Surveying (1-year) and the Associate Degree in Surveying (2-year). These programs offer alternative pathways into the surveying profession, addressing the critical shortage of skilled surveyors in NSW and Australia. Designed to meet industry demand, these qualifications will equip students with practical skills for immediate workforce entry and provide a pathway to further study in the Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) to become a registered Surveyor.

Bachelor of Business

Bachelor of Business Programs have been updated to ensure you graduate work ready! Check out the new majors offered for Semester 1 2025 including Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and International Business, among others.

Combined Bachelor in Business programs have also been updated – check out the new Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Media and Communications launching Semester 1 2025. Bachelor of Business Analytics is no longer offered as a combined program with the Bachelor of Business but is still available as a stand-alone program or combined with the Bachelor of Commerce.

This program is ideal for sports enthusiasts, offering students access to top-tier high-performance facilities and leading industry experts in sports and business. Study a dual diploma in a sports-focused setting. Theoretical learning and assessment is delivered by TAFE NSW industry experienced teachers; combined with the opportunity for practical experience supported by South Sydney Rabbitohs staff and players. Open Day is always a fantastic opportunity for students to experience the University, speak with our academics, engage with current students, and explore the facilities.

Aspire Early Entry Program

Our Aspire Early Entry Program is open for applications for two of our popular streams – Aspire Community Contribution and Aspire Year 11 Conditional Entry until 6 September.

Students with experience in volunteering and leadership or who achieved good results in Year 11 can apply for an early conditional offer. Students receive additional benefits through these programs such as free ATAR Notes+ memberships and the opportunity to be considered for an Aspire scholarship worth $20,000.

La Trobe University is ensuring a compliant approach to advice outlined in the recent University Accord recommendation. Therefore, Aspire conditional offers and outcomes will occur from September.

The session will draw from my experience working as Assistant Director of Admissions at a US university and cover the application process as well as the higher education system in the US. We’ve seen a substantial increase in interest and successful student application outcomes, even comparing to pre-covid times.
