The event targeted parents and students, due to recent research determining parents are the key influencers in their child’s career pathways decisions. The College invited experts and key exhibitors from universities, colleges, local employers, TAFE, associations, and defence forces to educate and guide those present. We also had two special presentations on Early Entry Schemes and studying overseas.
To reach more parents, we extended the invitation to parents from St Joseph’s Catholic College, St Peter’s Catholic College, MacKillop Catholic College, and St Brigid’s Catholic College and we thank the 453 parents who registered and attended with their families, making over 1000 attendees. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we now plan to host this highly successful event every two years.
