Although creating many chances in the first 15 mins, the boys went to the half time break 1-0 down. Undeterred, they continued to play out the back and through midfield but were guilty of too many touches leading to turn over in possession. A well worked move saw Reid Spokes send a first-time ball through for Harry Thorpe to open the scoring Eddies account and bring the game level. Soon after the same pair combined again with Harry getting a first half brace.

The second half was very much the same. Cheap turn overs in possession allowed Central Coast Adventist School to stay in the game and nearly catch us on the break a couple of times. However, the boys held on to win the game 2-1. We move on to the next round to play the winner of Gosford High School or Kincumber High School.
