CSNSW Athletics Carnival

This carnival will be held one week later, on Monday 11 September at SOPAC, Homebush.

Broken Bay may select the following number of students per age in each event:

• 100m – 2 students
• 200m – 2 students
• 400m – 1 student
• 800m – 2 students
• 1500m – 2 students
• Hurdles – 1 student
• Walk Junior* (12-14 years) – 2 students
• Walk Senior* (15+ years)  -2 students
• Discus – 1 student
• Javelin – 1 student
• High Jump – 1 student
• Long Jump – 1 student
• Shot Put – 1 student
• Triple Jump Junior (12-15 years) – 1 student
• Triple Jump Senior (16+ years) – 1 student

*Entries for Hurdles and Walk events will be based on nominations:  Hurdles and Walk Nominations form 2023 as these events will not be held at Broken Bay Championship in 2023

Para Athletes

Broken Bay may select the following number of Para athletes for each division (12-15 / 16+) in each event:

• Para Athlete 100 – 2 students
• Para Athlete 200 – 2 students
• Para Athlete Discus – 1 student
• Para Athlete Long Jump – 1 student
• Para Athlete Shot Put – 1 student

All students selected in the Broken Bay Athletics Team will receive information following the championships ie instructions to register, give consent and pay online via the Catholic Schools NSW Sport website.

Under 16 – Under 19’s

Saturday 23 – Monday 25 September

SOPAC, Homebush

Entries Close – Friday 8 September

Able and Para Athletes.

Under 12 – Under 15’s

Friday 6 – Sunday 8 October

SOPAC, Homebush

Entries Close – Friday 22 September

Able and Para Athletes.

Under 12’s must be in Year 7.

Students need to get on and register for this event by the closing date, there is no qualification required.
