The St Edward’s College community came together to celebrate the academic achievements of students at two assemblies on 19 July 2023.
Students were honored for their hard work, diligent application, and dedication to their studies. The College applauds these young men for their perseverance and the remarkable results they achieved throughout Semester 1. Congratulations to all award recipients for their well-deserved achievements!
Students received one of three awards:
- Consistent Effort: Students being presented with Consistent Effort have approached their studies with perseverance and resilience, demonstrating high levels of organisation, cooperation and participation. To be presented this award Students must have received nominations from the majority of their teachers.
- Academic Achievement: Students being presented Academic Achievement are actively involved in the classroom, have developed effective study routines and are always working at their personal best. To be presented this award, students must achieve an A grade in a number of subjects and receive nominations from teachers.
- Outstanding Academic Achievement: Student receiving Outstanding Academic Achievement have demonstrated academic excellence in all subjects, showcasing sophisticated skills in and commitment to independent study. They always work at their personal best, striving to set and achieve their goals. To be presented this award, students must achieve an A grade in the majority of subjects and receive nominations from teachers.
