Students were presented with one of three awards:

• Consistent Effort Awards: Students who were presented with a Consistent Effort Award approached their studies during Semester One, with perseverance and resilience, and demonstrated high levels of organisation, cooperation and participation. To be presented with this award Students must have received nominations from the majority of their teachers.
• Academic Achievement Awards: Students who were presented with an Academic Achievement Award were actively involved in the classroom during Semester One, they developed effective study routines and were always working at their personal best. To be presented this award, students must have achieved an A grade in a number of subjects and have received nominations from teachers.
• Outstanding Academic Achievement Awards: Student who were presented with an Outstanding Academic Achievement Award had demonstrated academic excellence in all subjects during Semester One and had showcased sophisticated skills in and commitment to independent study. They always worked at their personal best, and strived to set and achieve their goals. To be presented this award, students must have achieve an A grade in the majority of subjects and have received nominations from teachers.
