Assessment and Selection of High Potential Learners
Processes for the Assessment and Selection of High Potential Learners
The process for identifying a student as high potential will involve analysis of information from a range of sources such as
- Any available results from standardised testing including NAPLAN, PAT, Enrolment Academic Assessment Test or other, that students may have completed whether through St Edward’s College or other.
- Academic results.
- Qualitative information provided by parents, teachers, or the student.
Parents who believe their child may be high potential and wish to have them considered for access to opportunities should complete the Bungaree Parent Nomination form below. Students may also nominate themselves using the Bungaree Self Nomination form.
If submitting a nomination, please provide as much supporting information as possible to assist with the process of assessment.
Following nomination, students may be invited to participate in additional testing and assessment.
