NSWCCC Athletics Carnival

Highlights for the day included:

• Aiden Knevett 1^st Place Under 12-15 Shot Put Multiclass
• Cooper Jones 2^nd Place Under 17+ 400m (49.64sec)
• Cooper Jones 3rd Place Under 17+ 200m (22.95sec)
• Lincoln Markulin 2^nd Place Under 17+ Javelin (53.07m)

As a result of these achievements, Aiden, Cooper and Lincoln have all been recently selected in the NSWCCC Merit Team.

NSW All Schools Athletics Carnival

During the recent holidays, a number of our boys competed at the NSW All Schools Championships from Saturday 28 September to Wednesday 2 October at SOPAC, Homebush.

This event is organised by Athletics NSW and features the best athletes from all school levels. Our boys did an exceptional job, achieving the following:

• Ethan Rowell – Under 13                                100m             16^th (13.35 sec)
• Riley Schroder – Under 15-16 Para AMB       100m             11^th
• Riley Schroder – Under 15-16 Para AMB       Shot Put         7^th
• Riley Schroder – Under 15-16 Para AMB       Discus            7^th
• Aiden Knevett – Under 12-14 Para AMB        Shot Put         5^th
• Aiden Knevett – Under 12-14 Para AMB        Discus            8th
• Lincoln Markulin – Under 19                          Javelin           4^th (45.87m – 800g)
• Cooper Jones – Under 17                              200m              5^th (22.78 sec)

However, the highlight of the event was Cooper placing 3rd in the 400m in a time of 49.28 sec. This has resulted in Cooper qualifying for the National Championships in 2025, to be held in Perth.
