Manufacturing Machine Technician – Apprenticeship
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated person looking to commence their career within the Manufacturing industry. This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you will begin learning from day one.
A Manufacturing Machine Technician operates a variety of state-of-the-art machinery. Immerse yourself in a world of innovation as you learn to operate an array of machines, from traditional favourites like beam saws and panel saws to cutting-edge technologies like CNC routers, laser cutters, and 3D printers.
A Manufacturing Machine Technician is responsible for adjusting settings on machinery and maintaining machine components to ensure that our machinery operates at optimal levels. Successful candidates will not only be exposed to woodworking machines but also explore the realms of glass, aluminium, plastics, and mild steel fabrication.
Successful candidates will gain expertise in transforming their own designs into reality using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion360. You’ll not only navigate the prototyping phase but also seamlessly transition into the full production process, ensuring that your creations meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Being a Manufacturing Machine Technician with Borg can open a diverse career path where you can specialise in a variety of machinery and processes in our business.
