The aim is to give students a broad understanding of past, current and emerging technology. This understanding is achieved through the acquisition and communication of technology concepts. This intellectual formation should enable each individual to achieve personal excellence.
All Computing Studies Faculty programs are based on the Board of Studies syllabi and aim to enable students to acquire skills in using computers, to investigate computer based systems, learn about processes of information flow, to solve simple and complex problems and use appropriate terminology.
Computing Studies courses will equip students with the ability to work with differing technologies in a successful and efficient manner. The idea that underpins all of the content through the teaching of Computing Courses at St Edward’s College is “seamless integration of Technology”. No matter what the situation the students will be prepared to embrace the challenge.
